Alex is a student aboard the Dropship. He can be found in the area immediately to the right of the one the Player Character starts in. He's always standing next to the Dropship's arcade machines, and holds the high score in Planetary Defender. He also enjoys playing AssaultMecha, and is trying to become the game champion like he used to be for an unnamed star fighter game.

When spoken to, Alex can provide the player with a good bit of information regarding the arcade games he stands next to, in addition to information about G.E.A.R.S. University and can show the Player Character Tek's tutorial Holovid on Mech piloting.
